Media&#160;&amp; Communications disseminates news and information to these audiences through print publications, 
   <a href="/news">news releases​</a>, Internet and social media communications, multimedia presentations and other methods.<br></p><ul class="servicesList"><li><h2>Media Relations<br></h2><p> Media&#160;&amp; Communications provides the news media with a spectrum of information about the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û and the wider education community through news releases, electronic newsletters and the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û website. It also responds promptly to media requests for informatio​n and analysis, whether related directly to the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û or to broader education issues. </p> ​ </li><li><h2>Publications - External​â¶Ä‹<br></h2><p> Media&#160;&amp; Communications produces promotional and informational materials about the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û and other educational programs. An electronic newsletter, the 
         <a href="/newsroom/Pages/newsletters.aspx" target="_blank">IMPACT Weekly​</a>, informs educators, school principals and superintendents, as well as business and general communities about ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û news, programs and initiatives. The ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û Web site provides considerable information on education-related issues and events, as well as statistics and analysis. Publication planning services - including concept, copy, graphic design and production - are also available to public schools and districts.</p></li><li><h2>Publications - Internal</h2><p> Just one of many internal communications edited and produced by Media &amp; Communications, the Monday Memo Resource Portal was created as a supplement to the County&#160;Superintendent of School’s weekly email sent to all staff​. The Intranet features information of interest to staff like ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û news, events and honors, multimedia presentations,&#160;and a comprehensive Systems Manual that details communication procedures. A thorough Style Guide provides direction on ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û logo use and proper formatting for correspondence and publications. A crisis communication plan details actions to be taken during an emergency situation. </p></li><li><h2>Publications - References</h2><p> Media &amp; Communications compiles and edits information for the 
         <a href="/schooldirectory">Public Schools Directory</a>, which provides address and phone data for the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û and all county districts and schools. Produced in a hardbound form and distributed annually, the directory is also published online. ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û presentation folders, an 
         <a href="/supoffice/comserv/Documents/ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û-Annual-Calendar.pdf" target="_blank">Annual Calendar</a> and a Style Guide are also available.</p></li><li> ​ ​
