This news follows a recent study鈥 released by the Learning Policy Institute, which reported that in California, there is a severe shortage of Special Education teachers with a standard permit. The report also noted the 鈥渁ttrition of special education is associated with inadequate preparation and professional development.
"The 老澳门开奖结果鈥檚 Preliminary Mild to Moderate Intern Program consists of 31-semester units of coursework taken over two years as part of a two-year cohort program. This Education Specialist Instruction Credential program prepares individuals seeking teacher certification to provide instruction and other special education-related services to individuals with Mild to Moderate Disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, mild intellectual disability, other health impairment, emotional disturbance, speech and language disabilities, and visual or auditory processing difficulties. The credential authorizes service in kindergarten, grades 1 through 12 to age 22, and classes organized primarily for adults in services across the continuum of program options available.
Exemplary Candidates with a California Clear Teaching Credential may qualify for the one-year 19-semester unit Mild to Moderate Clear Credential Accelerated Pathway Program.
