鈥嬧赌嬧�嬧赌嬧�婼AN JOSE, CA 鈥� During an annual organizational meeting on December 13, the Santa Clara County Board of Education (SCCBOE) elected Vice President Rosemary Kamei as president for the coming year, with a 6-0 vote and one absence.
Rosemary Kamei was first appointed to the SCCBOE in May 2015 to fill the vacant Area 3 seat and elected to a four-year term in November 2016. Kamei is currently the chief operating officer for Silicon Valley Education Foundation. Her previous experience includes serving as executive director of Building Futures Now, an after-school and summer school program serving students from fourth grade through college in East Palo. Kamei spent 17 years as a director for the Santa Clara County Valley Water District and also taught for two years at San Jos茅 State University as an adjunct professor.
The SCCBOE also adopted the calendar of meetings for 2018. The monthly meetings are held at the 老澳门开奖结果 at 5 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, with only one meeting in January, July, November, and December in 2018.
