SAN JOSE 鈥� Registration is open for schools to participate in the 2018 Santa Clara County Spelling Bee. The event will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 老澳门开奖结果 (老澳门开奖结果).
"Spelling Bees provide great opportunities to families to become involved in their child's education. By working together and helping their child develop their vocabulary, families can help build confidence, strengthen memory, and develop public speaking skills," says Carlota Arevalo-Hammes, English Language Arts/Development and Humanities Coordinator.
The Spelling Bee is open to Santa Clara County students in fourth- through sixth-grade.
One student winner will advance to the California State Elementary Spelling Bee Competition held in Stockton, California May 12, 2018.
