â¶Ä‹The Integrated Data team oversees a wide range of systems and programs. From leading the overall direction and implementation of the ÀϰÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û Data Governance Program to supporting school districts in visualizing their data, Integrated Data is committed to innovative uses of data to support improved outcomes for all children.
ÀϰÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û hosts data for 46 districts in Northern California, supporting data warehousing and analytics for more than 300,000 students. In collaboration with our Data Analytics and development and Web Development teams, Data Governance supports Santa Clara Counties’ interagency systems, promoting data sharing across Juvenile Justice, Child and Family Welfare, Behavioral Health, and thirty-two school districts. This empowers county agencies to share information in support of our most vulnerable students.
TK-12 Integrated Data Systems
The Integrated Data team leads the development of data policies and processes; and serves as the liaison between ÀϰÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û departments, teams, and staff to ensure effective communication and successful implementation of the program.Student Data Warehousing
ÀϰÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û offers low-cost data warehousing to every district in Santa Clara County and to districts in other counties throughout Northern California. The student data warehouse is the backbone of education data sharing and is an integral part of every system that supports school districts and inter-agency data sharing.DataZone Analytics
The DataZone Analytics platform aggregates multiple data sources (SIS, State Assessments, Local Assessments, CollegeBoards, and SEL) to visualize information for decision-making. With secure district partitions and role-based authentication, the analytics platform enables districts to see what is happening with their students across multiple platforms in near real time.FosterVision
FosterVision is a cross-agency data system that updates nightly with information from Schools, Child Welfare, and Juvenile Probation. This data-sharing partnership accelerates support for youth placed at risk in our systems and youth receiving services from multiple agencies across the county.Service Link Application
The Service Link application (Service Link App) is a joint partnership between the ÀϰÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û and the Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Services Department (BHSD). Service Link App, an ÀϰÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û-developed web application, provides a platform for School Linked Services (SLS) coordinators to refer, track, and report student referrals and family engagement events. The Service Link App quickly connects SLS coordinators to their student rosters via the ÀϰÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û student data warehouse in order to log student referrals and track family engagement events. De-identified reports are available for programmatic monitoring and evaluation of BHS’s SLS initiative.Data Exchanges
Data exchanges, made possible by the student data warehouse, are a key support to districts and community-based organizations (CBOs) in evaluating their support and services to students while reducing the administrative burden to compile data sets that are often kept in disparate systems. As each participating data warehouse district maintains complete ownership and control of their students’ data, each data exchange involves a rigorous permission process detailing access and appropriate data fields to be shared; no data is ever shared without the explicit consent of the district.
